Who my target audience are and how i address them

My magazine was aimed at boys and girls aged 13-18 I chose this target audience as this is the age most bands featured in my magazine aim their music at. I addressed them as I would a friend at that age, I did this so the magazine felt very welcoming and friendly, making it easier for the readers to get in to.

What kind of media institute might distribute your product and why?

I think that the magazines Kerrang! and RockSound would distribute my magazine as the music featured in each magazine are the same or roughly similar, the style, look and impression are the same and also have the same target audience.

 Cover  - This is the kind of style I am looking for when I come to design my magazine, but I will make mine alot more attractive to look at by adding more colour. But I am aiming for a more fun approach that he commerial serious look.

Contents - This is the kind of style I am aiming for with my contents page. A simple way of laying everything out, but very easy to find out whats included inn the issue.

Double Page Spread - This is also the kind of style I want with my double page spread. But mine, like the front cover, will look more fun. I will also be using their idea of having inset pictures of the band practicing/recording/playing live shows.
